A Mini Series is a creative photography experience built around a specific idea, story, or visual world. Think “mini session” - but BETTER.

It might be a colorful summer adventure, a cozy blanket fort, a birthday celebration, a holiday experience, or something completely unexpected.

Each Series has its own set, styling, and personality, but they're all designed with the same goal: to make taking pictures fun and engaging for kids.

Mini Series concepts for the year are released each January. Specific set designs and visuals will be released quarterly.

Your passes are available during your membership year and do not roll over into a new membership year.

If you've been meaning to use that last pass, consider this your reminder to book it!

Each Mini Series appointment is 20 minutes.

I keep things short and fun on purpose! Twenty minutes is plenty of time for kids to explore the set, be themselves, and create a gallery full of personality - without asking them to sit still for an hour.

Mini Series appointments are scheduled in time blocks, so your session will still end at its scheduled time if you arrive late.

We recommend arriving about 5 minutes early so your family has time to get settled.

If you're so late that the session can no longer reasonably take place, the Mini Series pass may be forfeited.

Don’t tell me because that will hurt my feelings. Haha! We intentionally offer a variety of creative concepts throughout the year so families can choose the experiences that feel right for them.

Simply save your pass for another Mini Series that you love!

Mini Series have limited availability -  popular experiences may fill quickly.

As a Club member, you'll receive early access to booking, giving you the best opportunity to grab a spot.

If a Series sells out, we'll maintain a waitlist when possible and will add additional availability if scheduling allows.

Yes! If four experiences aren't enough, Club members can purchase additional Mini Series passes for the member-only rate of $125 each, subject to availability.

Of course!  Siblings can participate together in a Mini Series, and you can use your 20-minute appointment however you'd like.

Just keep in mind that one pass = one 20-minute appointment, regardless of how many children participate.

As many as you'd like! True Light Kids Club is a family membership, not a per-child membership. Bring one child, siblings, or the whole crew.

Each Mini Series pass covers one 20-minute family appointment, so you can decide how you'd like to spend those 20 minutes.

Absolutely! Because each pass belongs to your family rather than an individual child, you can use two of your four passes for two different children's Birthday Mini Series.

You could even use all four passes for birthdays if that's what works best for your family!

We never assume that families are comfortable having their children's images shared publicly. Before sharing any images, we'll follow your family's selected privacy preferences.

For families who choose not to have recognizable images shared publicly, social media images will feature intentional face coverings or other creative edits so your child's identity isn't visible. You will always have the option of no images being posted at all.

Additionally, names are not shared and parents are not tagged in social media posts made by True Light Portraits.

Your family's images belong to your family, and we'll always respect your choices about how they're shared.

To get the most out of your membership, I would recommend using all four of your Photo Passes. You can use them on a Mini Series that you love, for multiple birthday sessions if you have multiple children - whatever makes the most sense for your family!

Your annual Family Session is separate from your four Mini Series passes. I will have set aside dates for Family Sessions in the Fall and Spring. Sign up links will be released via email and the Facebook group. 

Family Sessions must be scheduled and completed before the end of the membership year and do not roll over into a subsequent membership year.

Your membership year begins on the date you join and continues for 12 months. You'll receive all of the same perks whether your year begins in January or October.

True Light Kids Club is a 12-month membership commitment, so memberships cannot be cancelled before the end of the membership year.

At the end of your 12-month membership year, your four Mini Series passes and Family Session from that membership year expire.

You'll have the opportunity to renew your Club membership for another year and start a whole new collection of childhood memories.

Renewing members will receive information about the upcoming membership year and current pricing before their renewal date.
